According to the order of the district governor, from September 1, 1941, the Jewish population of the “Halytsky region” was forbidden to leave their place of permanent residence, even temporarily. On September 13, the order was delivered through the representative of the Nazi occupation administration, the head of the district (Kreishauptmann) von Rebay, to the residents of Kamianka-Strumilov (now Kamianka-Buzka, Lviv region).
